XVI Republican Subject Olympiad
From October 17 to October 18, 2024, the Republican subject Olympiad among students studying under the educational program “B014 – training geography teachers” was held at the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai.
The Olympiad was attended by 3rd year TOPO Geo students Akezhan Amangeldievich and Tursin Amirzhan Serganovich, who took the second place.
Semirkhanova Diana Kadyrkhanovna, who supervised the students, was awarded a letter of thanks.
On November 23-24, Zhubanov University hosted a republican debate tournament dedicated to the 125th anniversary of K. Zhubanov. The event, organized on the theme “K. Zhubanov – a bright star of science”, was attended by participants from Astana, Uralsk, Aktau, Atyrau.
The 3rd-year geography student Amanshin Azamat took part in the competition, taking the second place and receiving a certificate in the amount of 250,000 tenge.

Kuanyshbayeva Aykhanym Askarovna, a 4th-year student of the Chemical and Biological Faculty, became the winner of the international competition “The Best Student of the Turkic Peoples”, organized by the National Innovation Research Center “BILIM – ORKENIETI” together with the Republican Innovation Center “New Kazakhstan” for her contribution to the development of youth policy in the Turkic countries.

Master’s student of biology Ayan Abidollaevna became the owner of the grant “Tauelsizdik urpaktary”, organized by the akim of the Mangystau region.
In accordance with the direction of his scientific work, he presented the AGRO-ROOM laboratory project aimed at growing tropical plants, with further intensification of greenhouse work, which his students are constantly engaged in.
